Sound Module
Ravity perfectly recreated ROMplers from ’80s-’90s. And has many bread and butter synth sounds.
Ravity’s rack-mounted module type control panel occupies very small portion of your screen.
4 Quick Edit Knobs on the left side of Ravity allow you to build your desired sound quick and easy.
Preset Browser
Ravity features a convenient user interface with the Preset Browser. It offers simple, but powerful control over all aspects of Ravity. You can navigate through controls and adjust them simply with a keyboard or mouse, you can custom assign user presets using different colors, and you can use the Preview/Load system to quickly browse through the different sounds.
Ravity S
is Synth sound module
Ravity S features easy-to-use and intuitive user interface. MIDI assign feature is easily accessible via a simple right click of the mouse over the respective buttons and knobs, and by clicking on the name of the knob, you can input the exact values of the parameters through your keyboard. The LCD panel will immediately reflect the changes you make. The LFX module on the bottom allows you to add powerful effects with ease. And Additional functions for the MIDI Assign and several setups can be adjusted on the back panel. Ravity includes quick links to refer the manual.

Ravity R allows you to assign desired sounds to individual pads. Output buses, mute groups can be easily controlled for each pad, and you can control and view every detail within the LCD panel. Ravity R features easy-to-use and intuitive user interface. Ravity can be thought of as a “bread and butter” synth module, as it has all the basics you’d probably need. Using its many layers, filters, and effects, you can get a great variety of sounds from this nice ROMpler. I really like the interface, and the quick loading times. It might not have gigabytes of sample material to draw from, but it does have that great, classic sound of synth modules of yesterday.
…Eine große Bandbreite an einzelnen Software-PlugIns, Sounds und Spezialtools gehört in vielen Studios inzwischen zum Standard. Wer seinen musikalischen Arbeitsplatz ständig auf dem Laufenden halten kann, der dürfte damit keine Probleme haben. Aber für alle, die sich mal wieder nach einem leichtgewichtigen Allroundtalent sehnen, gibt es mit Luxonix Ravity jetzt eine Lösung…
…As Mike Senior has described recently in his series on XG synthesis, by layering basic sounds together it is possible to build up something much more complex. Patches such as ‘Deep Blue See’, ‘Fascination’ and ‘Drama’ (all within the Slow Synth category) are really effective and demonstrate Ravity’s potential. This said, even the single-layer patches can be very good indeed (‘Hysteria’, with a little pitch-bend, is great for lead lines!)…

Luxonix have succeeded where many have come up short: they’ve delivered a cracking set of patches and a healthy set of parameters that allow you to tweak them to perfection – all bundled into an inviting and user-friendly package. Anyone wanna buy a used JV-2080?…
…Il semble que ces deux produits méritent réellement plus qu’un simple coup d’œil : ils sonnent, et le rapport possibilités / consommation CPU les place hors de portée de tous les autres instruments virtuels que j’ai pu essayer. Aucun plantage avec ces plug-ins, et le chargement de 20 (vingt !) instances du Ravity(S) pousse la jauge de mon ordi à 55 % d’utilisation CPU (PIV2.8 / 1Go Ram, sous Cubase SX2). De plus, le support des produits semble être particulièrement bien géré, et les programmateurs réagissent aux demandes avec une rapidité exemplaire. Les presets sont nombreux et excellents. Ces produits ont trouvé très facilement leurs places dans ma collection de VST-i… et je ne suis pas sûr de pouvoir un jour m’en passer désormais…

Luxonix (Sonic Cat) : They are very good instruments, but Ravity serves a very different purpose to them. We have aimed not only for good quality of sound, but also more efficient and faster performance. Ravity is a genuine PCM ROMpler, isn’t it?…
